Creidhne

Associated with crafts, specifically metalsmithing, working with bronze, gold and brass. One of the three gods of art, with his brothers Luchtaine and Goibniu.

In the Second Battle of Mag Tuired Goibniu is also said to be brother to Dian Cecht and Nuada, which could mean that Creidhne is as well.

In Lebor Gabála Érenn it is said that Creidhne helped Dian Cecht with the making of Nuada’s silver arm.

Other details: With his brothers, Creidhne made weapons and armor for the Tuatha de Danann. As the brazier he made the rivets to hold spears together, the hilts for swords, and the rims for the shields.
