Tales: The main mention of Hlin in the lore is Snorri’s inclusion of her in the list of Asynjur and his identification of her with oaths.

The Voluspa mentions the death of Odin as Hlin’s “second sorrow”; although some scholars believe that in this case “Hlin” refers to Frigg herself, it is also possible to interpret this as Hlin’s own failure to save those who are dear to Frigg.

Other details: Hlin is counted by Snorri in Gylfaginning among the Asynjur.

Hlin is the protector of those who Frigga wants to keep safe.

As with some of the other Asynjur, some believe that Hlin is simply another name for Frigg, but this is by no means agreed upon.
