Serqet (Serket) is an Egyptian goddess associated with magic and medicine, particularly protection from poisonous and venomous beasts such as the scorpion that is her animal.

Serqet is depicted here with a scorpion on her head. She carries the was staff, a symbol of power, in one hand and the ankh, a symbol of life, in the other.
