I am super-happy to announce that I am adding a line of prayer beads for Egyptian gods to my Etsy shop!
These are pocket beads, each a string of nine beads with an ankh on one end, and a pendant on the other with an image of the god the beads are made for. Each pendant is made with a reproduction of one of my own drawings of the gods, drawn by hand, then scanned, colored and reduced to size electronically, which is then made into a resin pendant.
I’m planning to keep these beads in stock as I do my others, although since the pendants take the better part of a week to make the restocking may be a bit slower. They are great fun to make, there’s just a lot of time involved. 🙂
I’m starting out with five sets of prayer beads to Egyptian gods:
These beads for Isis (Aset) are made with deep blue fire-polished Czech glass beads, are approximately 10″ (25.5cm) in length, and are available here in my shop.
These beads for Osiris (Wesir, Asar) are made with deep green fire-polished Czech glass beads, are approximately 10″ (25.5cm) in length, and are available here in my shop.
These beads for Hathor are made with dark gold-colored fire-polished Czech glass beads, are approximately 10″ (25.5cm) in length, and are available here in my shop.
These beads for Bast are made with red fire-polished Czech glass beads, are approximately 10″ (25.5cm) in length, and are available here in my shop.
These beads for Thoth (Dejehuty) are made with deep blue fire-polished Czech glass beads, are approximately 10″ (25.5cm) in length, and are available here in my shop.
I hope you like them as much as I do–you can find them under Egyptian Prayer Beads at my shop!
